Update on school tax mailing error
The following is a message from Principal Meghan D'Alessandro:
The 2026-27 school year is off to a wonderful start here at Pine Hills Elementary School and I wanted to write to outline important drop-off and pick-up protocols that will ensure the continued safety of our students and staff.
It is absolutely imperative that there are no personal vehicles - driving or parked - in the school bus loop in front of our building. Additionally, please do not double park on North Allen Street or Hudson Avenue as it blocks through traffic and creates a hazard. It is acceptable to use any open parking spot on North Allen or Hudson. And finally, the small lot south of our building is for district and Pine Hills staff only. Please do not move the cones to access the lot, even for a small amount of time.
It is up to all of us to maintain safety both inside and outside of our school, and I appreciate everyone’s partnership and attention to this important issue.

We are actively working to address the concerns that have already been voiced by our school community and we want to ensure that arrival and pick up run as smoothly and as safely as possible.
