• All City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô schools are closed next week (Feb. 16-20) for Winter Recess.
   
• Looking for something to do during the break? Our PTA is hosting a Dave and Buster's Fundraiser. The PTA will receive 50% of the sales and your card can be used immediately.
   
• Registration for modified (grades 7-8) spring sports begins Monday, Feb. 23. Details, including links to the required paperwork, can be found here. New in 2026 - modified girls' flag football! Off-season flag football training begins Feb. 21.
   
• We will dismiss at 12:30 on Wednesday, Feb. 25 to accommodate staff PD. Additional details, including information for student athletes, can be found here.
   
• Mark your calendars! NAMS' annual Black History Month Celebration is Thursday, Feb. 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. - join us for this wonderful event!
   
• We can't wait to celebrate our honor roll recipients on Friday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. Please be prepared to show identification and allow time to pass through security - doors will open to parents/guardians at 8:30 a.m. Click here for more information about the district's Raptor digital security system. Please consider  to contribute a drink or treat for the student after party. Volunteers - for set up and clean up - are also needed.

• The City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô's Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) invites parents and caregivers to participate in the organization's first annual Special Education Family Empowerment Conference on Feb. 28.
   
• The City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô would like your input in our annual survey, which has been expanded this year to accept feedback from community members as well as families!  only takes a few minutes to complete, and the feedback you provide will play a vital role in our school improvement efforts.
