Celebrating our art teachers

Art teachers pose with pieces of art at a coffee shop.

The art teachers who guide, inspire, organize and make it possible for our student artists to shine now have a - much deserved - spotlight on them!

The New York State Art Teachers' Association (NYSATA) Region 6 Members' Exhibition is being held from April 1-27 at Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga (402 Broadway) and four City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô educators have pieces in the show:

  • Catherine Kuubetesuri (Â鶹ӰÒô International Academy):
  • Caitlin Sweet (North Â鶹ӰÒô Middle School): , and Mini Flower Series (, )
  • Kara Tolmie (North Â鶹ӰÒô Middle School):
  • Kate Wright (CSDA Fine Arts Supervisor):

This exhibition was put together and curated by City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô teacher and NYSATA Region 6 Secretary, Caitlin Sweet.

The NYSATA Exhibition is composed of 70+ works created by art educators from Â鶹ӰÒô, Schoharie, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington Counties.

Congratulations to our talented educators and thank you for doing all you do to promote creativity both inside and outside of the classroom.
