The semester may be over at the University at Â鶹ӰÒô but the campus is still buzzing with student learning – it just may not be the students you expect.
Junior scientists from William S. Hackett Middle School joined peers at North Â鶹ӰÒô Middle School, and Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School , to professors and graduate students at UÂ鶹ӰÒô’s Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship (ETEC) Complex on Thursday.
After the science fair, the sixth and seventh-graders explored ETEC – which houses researchers, educators and entrepreneurs – and the tour was followed by a discussion with a UÂ鶹ӰÒô atmospheric science researcher and the awards ceremony.
Most will likely recognize one of the science fair judges – assessments and hopefully recruited some future Great Danes!
