All three City School District of Â鶹ӰÒô middle schools, students in grades 6-12 in the Newcomer Program at Â鶹ӰÒô International Academy and all grades at Tony Clement Center for Education will dismiss early on Wednesday, Jan. 14 for a professional development program for faculty and staff.
North Â鶹ӰÒô Middle School, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School, William S. Hackett Middle School, and secondary students at AIA and Clement will release at 12:30 p.m.
Regular CDTA and First Student buses will be available to transport students home at the earlier time. Please make arrangements so that your student can enter their home.
All after-school activities will be canceled except modified, freshman, JV and varsity athletics, which will be held on their regular schedules. Student-athletes in all schools dismissing early Wednesday will need to go home and return later in the afternoon for scheduled practices and competitions. Transportation back to school will not be provided.
Professional development provides an important opportunity for staff in the school to come together and learn about the best ways to serve and support our students.
Hackett, Myers and North Â鶹ӰÒô, and secondary students at AIA and Clement, will also dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 and March 18.
If you have any questions, please contact your student's school.
