Wanda Carter’s classroom Harvest Feast is legendary – not just for the Thanksgiving food enjoyed by the students and their families in late November but also for the work that goes into making it such a comprehensive and special event.
This week during small group instruction time, district retiree and current classroom volunteer Rose Marsh is helping the kindergarteners that will be used during the Nov. 24 meal. Math problems will be added later to create a piece that highlights our students’ academic growth and creativity.
Excitement is building for this enriching educational experience and heartwarming celebration of community!
