On Thursday, Sept. 3, we will celebrate the start of the new school year with our Welcome Back Event, which will run from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.!
All students in grades 9-12 are invited to stop by between 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to pick up everything they need for their first day of school, including Chromebooks, IDs, schedules and locker assignments.
Additional services and activities will also be offered, such as first-day haircuts by the Barbering and Cosmetology departments and first-day outfits from the Falcon Market.
Thanks to our partners at the Regional Food Bank and Â鶹ӰÒô Fund for Education, we will also be distributing food bags starting at 10 a.m. and will continue until supplies run out.
As a reminder, Friday, Sept. 4, is the first day of school for all students. Students in grade 9 will attend in the morning and students in grades 10-12 will attend in the afternoon. Schedule details are outlined below.
Grade 9 schedule:
- 8-8:30 a.m. — Student entry, schedule distribution, breakfast
- 8:30-8:45 a.m. — All students report to the auditorium
- 8:45-9:15 a.m. — Welcome assembly
- 9:15-9:45 a.m. — Ninth-grade orientation
- 9:45-10 a.m. — Tour
- 10:05 a.m.-12:55 p.m. — Students follow their full class schedule, with abbreviated 20-minute periods (lunch will be provided)
- 1 p.m. — Dismissal
Grades 10-12 schedule:
- 12:30-12:55 p.m. — Student entry, schedule distribution
- Sophomores — Auditorium
- Juniors — Cafes by academy
- Seniors — Library
- 1-3:30 p.m. — Students follow their full class schedule, with abbreviated 20-minute periods
- 3:30 p.m. — Dismissal
