Falcons fly at Capital Hills

Janie Hallgren in a pack of runners at the beginning of the race

Our boys' and girls' cross country teams faced off against Bethlehem and Shaker at Tuesday's home meet hosted at Capital Hills Golf Course.

Despite the hot weather, our Falcons showed amazing grit and perseverance on the 2.6-mile hilly course, delivering impressive performances.

For our girls' team, Janie Hallgren led the charge, finishing in ninth place with a 1-minute personal best time of 19:16! Matilda Gish and Tess Moore also shone bright, finishing in the top 20 with times of 20:13 and 20:37, respectively.

Noah Bizer delivered a stellar performance, coming in third overall with a blazing fast time of 14:56, followed closely by Cameron Volk in 12th place with a time of 15:42.

Although our teams faced tough losses, our Falcons are eager to lace up their running shoes for Saturday's competition hosted at Broadalbin-Perth High School.
