Arrival

Safety and Security
Student IDs are required every day for entry, and all students must adhere to security protocols. Students will be held to behavioral expectations and disciplinary policies of the Student Code of Conduct.
Transportation
Summer CDTA passes will be provided to students whose legal residence is 1.5 miles or more from Â鶹ӰÒô High.
Please note that CDTA tripper buses are not available over the summer, and students will need to ride regular CDTA routes.
Attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all classes each day while summer school is in session. Students with three or more absences are at risk of being dropped from the program. Encouraging school attendance and being on time for classes is one of the most powerful ways you can prepare your student for success – both in school and in life.
Student Chromebooks
Students are required to bring their school-issued Chromebook to summer school each day. Devices should be fully charged before arrival, and students should also bring their chargers daily.
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
All students are required to secure their cell phones and personal electronic devices, including smartwatches, earbuds and similar accessories, in a Yondr pouch upon arrival each day.
Electronic devices that do not fit inside a Yondr pouch, including personal laptops, computers, and tablets, are not permitted at summer school. If a student brings one of these devices, it must be turned in at the security entrance and will be secured until the end of the school day. Headphones that do not fit in Yondr pouches may also be confiscated if students do not have a backpack to store them in.
Returning Â鶹ӰÒô High School students were assigned a Yondr pouch during the previous school year and are expected to bring their assigned pouch to summer school each day.
Students who were not previously assigned a pouch, as well as non-district students, will be issued a Yondr pouch. Non-district students must return the pouch at the conclusion of the summer program.
Yondr pouches will be inspected daily before students enter the building to ensure they are locked and in good condition.
Students who forget their Yondr pouch must turn in their cell phone before passing through security. Their phone will be secured in a cell phone locker and returned at the security entrance at the end of the school day.
Students who refuse to secure their cell phone in a Yondr pouch will not be permitted to attend summer school, which may jeopardize their enrollment and academic progress.
Any student found in possession of a cell phone or other electronic device (including earbuds and headphones) that is not properly secured will have the device confiscated immediately. Confiscated devices may be picked up in the Innovation Office at the end of the school day.
