Falcons featured in regional art exhibition

On Thursday, five of our Âé¶¹Ó°Òô High students were honored at a at the Âé¶¹Ó°Òô Center Gallery for having their artwork accepted in the 26th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition, held at The Âé¶¹Ó°Òô Center Gallery, located at 488 Broadway, Suite 107, Âé¶¹Ó°Òô!

The exhibition opens to the public today, Friday, March 21, and runs until Friday, April 18. The gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. 

This year, an incredible 526 pieces from 25 school districts were submitted for consideration. The jurors for this year’s show are Robert Cooper, a photographer and journalist; Thomasa Dwyer Nielsen, an artist and educator; and Tony Iadicicco, Executive Director of the Âé¶¹Ó°Òô Center Gallery.

The jurors were extremely impressed by the creativity throughout the region and selected 138 exceptional pieces for exhibition.
