"I love being in a room with people who love music just as much as I do, and I'm so happy that I have the opportunity to do this."
Casasola auditioned for the Alto 2 part earlier this October and landed one of four internships offered to high school students annually. APM internships are free of cost and include a full scholarship to attend the Pro Musica International Choral Festival in the summer of 2027.
As an APM intern, Casasola will be paired with an APM singer within her vocal section who can provide guidance and support during rehearsals, which take place weekly at the University at Â鶹ӰÒô.

During the 2026-27 season, Casasola will perform in the and her first performance will be at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Casasola sings in our most advanced choirs at Â鶹ӰÒô High, Chamber Choir and the Albanettes and also performs with the Â鶹ӰÒô High Theater Ensemble. Most recently, she played the part of Janice in Mean Girls: High School Version.
Casasola hopes to study vocal performance and musical theater in college. Serving as an intern with Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica is an invaluable experience that will help her hone important skills such as score preparation, rehearsal etiquette and artistic expression.
We congratulate Casasola on this tremendous accomplishment and commend our teachers in the Â鶹ӰÒô High music department for the important role they have played in supporting Casasola's development as a talented vocalist.
