Falcon fans packed the stands on Friday night to watch our Â鶹ӰÒô High football team take on CBA in its long-awaited home opener under the lights at The Nest!

Despite the evening ending in a loss, our Falcons (1-2) kept their heads high as they battled against the undefeated Brothers (3-0), who are ranked No. 4 in the state. 

Sophomore Sha'Mier Cooperwood had three tackles and an interception, senior LaNir Whitaker had two tackles behind the line of scrimmage, including a strip-sack and fumble recovery, and Haywood Williams-Watson had two catches for 21 yards. 

Our Â鶹ӰÒô High cheerleading team put on a great halftime performance and kept the Falcon Pride shining throughout the game.

The Falcons take on Guilderland on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff at 2:30 p.m. following the Homecoming parade and other fun on-campus festivities that day.
