On Saturday afternoon, parents and loved ones gathered for a memorable to celebrate our seniors on the football team!
This year's senior athletes are: Justin Almonte-Fernandez, Kahlil Beckett, Marvion Bowman, Andrew Diaz, David Duran Martinez, Angel Duran Martinez, Rohan Edwards-Grant, Rah'Zir Ely, KhaDavier Farmer, Lashon Fraser, Lennox Fraser, Derek Hunt Jr., Jahdel Lopez, Izri "Izzy" Marrero, James Murphy, Makahi Rouse, Maurice Sanders, Osiris Shabazz-Beverly, D'Sean Slade, TehJon Taylor, Mekhii "Kai" Thompson, Phillip Walcott and Kim Williams.
Prior to taking the field to face off against Shenendehowa, our seniors were escorted by family members and loved ones for a time of photos and celebration. Each student's post-graduation plans were highlighted, and it was inspiring to hear about the variety of fields of study and career paths our Falcons plan to pursue!
Juan "Daniel" Rojo, a long-time member of the team who moved mid-season, was also honored remotely via a Facetime call for his time on the team.
We are proud of our seniors' discipline, resilience and leadership and wish them the very best in all their future endeavors. A big shout-out to our football coaches — Mike Ware, Joe Burke, Pete Porcelli, John McKnight and Brian Lewis — for helping our seniors excel on the field!
