Â鶹ӰÒô

Â鶹ӰÒô High senior takes the stage with Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica!

Headshot of Anna Ustin

Senior Anna Ustin received an invitation that many students hope for, but few achieve: the opportunity to intern with Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica, an elite, professional-caliber choral ensemble that rehearses and performs in the Capital Region.

Ustin auditioned for Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica earlier this fall and earned one of four internships offered to high school students interested in pursuing a career in music.

Known for inspirational performances that range from intimate a cappella pieces to large-scale choral works, Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica is composed of 64 to 100 auditioned volunteer singers. During her internship, Ustin will be paired with an Â鶹ӰÒô Pro Musica concert chorus singer within her vocal section to gain valuable guidance on score preparation, rehearsal etiquette and more.

During the 2025-26 season, Ustin will perform in the hosted at acclaimed local venues, including the historic Troy Savings Bank Music Hall and Key Hall at Proctors. Her inaugural performance will be at the  concert on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m.

Ustin sings in our most advanced choirs at Â鶹ӰÒô High, Chamber Choir and the Albanettes, and she will participate in various performances throughout the year, including our upcoming Chamber Concert on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m.

We congratulate Ustin for this incredible accomplishment and express our gratitude to her guiding teacher, Brendan Hoffman, for his support and inspiration.
