Adam Rouse’s first-half penalty and a stout defensive performance throughout a drizzly night helped Â鶹ӰÒô High’s boys’ soccer team to a 1-1 tie with unbeaten Bethlehem on Thursday at The Nest.

Rouse scored from the spot midway through the first half to give the Falcons (2-2-1 overall, 1-2-1 Suburban Council) a 1-0 lead. The Eagles (4-0-1, 2-0-1) equalized with a penalty of their own late in the first half, and both teams were strong defensively during the second half to earn a point apiece.

Junior goalie Evan Bermejo, central defenders Kyan Grant and John Wah, and midfielder Jerry González turned in standout performances for the Falcons.
